U14B Galacticos Win East Brunswick Tournament!
Congratulations to the Jersey Knights U14B Galacticos for their 1st place finish at their 2012 season opening tournament during Labor Day weekend in East Brunswick, NJ. The boys were undefeated, posting a 4-0-0 record and allowing only 1 goal in 4 games!
The Galacticos played great soccer throughout the weekend and showed their determination by winning the final game in an overtime penalty kick shoot out against the Marlton SC Lightning Red and claimed victory after the 7th round PK’s for a 2-1 win. The team demonstrated excellent technical skills and strong tactical awareness during the tournament against higher ranked teams. Expectations for this season are high. The Galacticos are coached and trained by Javier Velasco and managed by Gary Minor. Go Galacticos!
