The Jersey Knights U16G Mystic were finalists in both the MAPS Cup and Central Jersey Invitational tournaments. Throughout both competitions the Mystic defeated top teams from New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

Both Katrina Plowman and Megan Dunn played exceptional in goal while Jen Collins and Kerriann Cahillane anchored the defense exhibiting great leadership and composure in the defensive third.

The midfield was led by Kirsten Figel, Kellee Baylis, and Courtney McKiernan providing exceptional two-way play and creativity.

Leading the attack was Alyssa Zurlo who scored 11 goals in ten games and Bridget Giovenco who scored 5 and had 3 assists.
 

Congratualtions to the Jersey Knights Daggers U12G Team. The Daggers won the Jersey Shore Champions Cup this past weekend in Ocean Twp. The Daggers defeated DTS Ajax NJ 2-1 in a Shootout. The game was tied 1-1 through 2 overtimes. The shootout lasted through 7 shooters before Goalkeeper Julia Previte saved her 2nd shot to secure the victory.

Scorers in the shootout included: Kaelyn Patel, Moriya Frankel, Casey Baylis, Katrina Morales and Courtney Culp. The Daggers are trained and coached by Shannon Evans.

The U18G Gladiators won the Needham College Showcase U19 Division Memorial Day Weekend in Boston. The Gladiators advanced through pool play into the semifinal defeating Guiford SC, Ct. in a shootout. Keepers Julie Rekant  and Chandler Navaro led the way. Julie Rekant saved 2 PK’s in the SO while Chandler Navaro scored the winning penalty to seal a 3-2 victory.

In the final The Gladiators defeated the Central Ct. Extreme 2-1 in double OT. Sarah Barnes scored a golden goal to end the game. This was a great conclusion to a strong season for a Gladiator Squad that advanced to the NJ State Cup Final. Gladiator players will continue their careers with the Knights U23 Summer team prior to college preseason. Great job ladies!

All Jersey Knights Teams will be conducting tryouts for the 2010 - 2011 season starting in May! The Club will be offering a full lineup of teams in all age groups starting with U10 boys and girls up to U18 men and women.

The 2009 High School  was an exciting time for many of our Jersey Knights players. the Knights, with players competeing all over the Central New Jersey Area had many players recognized for their stellar play during the season. Jersey Knights Women continue to enjoy success at the high school level in soccer. Congratulations to all Knights players who were recognized for their performances on the soccer field during the Fall 2009 season. 

Leading this years class  earning All State or All Area recognition are Katie Metrokatsas (U18 Gladiators), Danielle Klecha (U18 Gladiators) and Dana Hunt (U17 Rage).
