Ryan is an11th grader from Monroe who received a heart transplant on January 27, 2008. Each participant in the Soccer-A-Thon has been asked to pledge a minimum of $25 per player, with all proceeds being used to help the Miller family cover their medical expenses and make a donation to Beth Israel Hospital on behalf of other children and their families.
