2007 Men's Post Season Honors

The 2007 Fall Soccer Season was another successful one for Jersey Knights Players. Congratulations to everyone who represented their High School Soccer Teams.
 
Knight Players earning recognition this year are led by Ibraham Kamara and Pat Baffuto. Ibe plays for the U18 Lancers and is a member of the North Brunswick High School Team. He is recognized as the Home News Tribune 2007 Player of the Year! Ibe, a striker, scored 27 goals and had 14 assists this past season. He finished his high school career with 82 goals and 36 assists and led North Brunswick to a 72-11 record during his years there. In addition, Ibe was honored by Star Ledger as a 1st team All State Player for the 3rd year in row. One of only five players in state history to earn that honor. He will be continuing his soccer career at Rutgers University next season. Pat earned 1st team All Area Team Honors this season. Pat is also a member of the U18 Lancers and played his high school soccer at Metuchen High School. Pat scored 27 goals and had 13 assists leading Metuchen to a sectional final and a 17 win season. He was named the GMC Blue Division Player of the Year. In addition, Pat earned all state recognition from the Star Ledger by being named to the Group 1 All State first team and first team All Middlesex County . Pat scored in all but two games for the Bulldogs this season.
 
Nye Winslow of Piscataway High School and the U18 Lancers also earned recognition. He earned first team All Area honors. Nye scored 19 goals and accumulated 9 assists during the season. He also earned First team All Middlesex County Recognition from the Star Ledger. Greg Levine and Nate D’Aversa both from Hunterdon Central earned All Sky Conference Honors as well as All Area and 2nd team North Central All State. Kyle Deblois was recognized as 1st team All Area, All Conference and was named the Group 3 State Team. Greg, Nate, and Kyle all play for the U18 Lancers. Greg O’Brien, also from the U18 Lancers and Westfield High School earned goalie of the year honors in Union County. Greg was also named to the North Central All State Team.
 
The Knights U17 Seige team had a number of players honored this past season. Zack Stahl from East Brunswick High School earned All Area and All GMC Conference honors as goalkeeper. In addition, he was the GMC Conference Tournament MVP. Defender, Ryan Norland also from East Brunswick earned All Area and All GMC Conference honors. Chris Fawzy, an East Brunswick Striker, earned recognition as a 2nd team All Area player. Chris scored both goals in East Brunswick’s 2-1 victory in the GMC Championship game. Aditya Chabra from North Brunswick received Honorable Mention on the All Area Team and was named to the GMC White Division 1st Team. Sean Mosser also earned Honorable mention to the All Area Team. Sean is a Defender from Sayreville High School. from North Brunswick received Honorable Mention on the All Area Team and was named to the GMC White Division 1st Team. also earned Honorable mention to the All Area Team. Sean is a Defender from Sayreville High School . Kevin Osman from Franklin Township High School and Jon Figueroa from Timothy Christian High School were also named to the Honorable Mention All Area Team. Centerback, Tim Parkinson was named to The GMC Red Division 1st Team as well as earning Honorable Mention All Area status. Tim hails from Old Bridge High School.
 
The Knights U16 Fire’s Michael Whalen, a sophomore at North Brunswick High School earned honorable mention on the Home News Tribune All Area team. Mike scored 6 goals and contributed 11 assists this season to the Raider team. Adrian Mosquera, a sophomore at Timothy Christian High School, scored 22 goals and contributed 10 assists and was named to honorable mention on the All Area Team.  Kharee Winslow, a junior at Piscataway High School, earned third team all area recognition with 7 goals, 10 assists.
