Congratulations to the the Jersey Knights Mystic! The Mystic won the U17 Flight at the MAPS College Showcase this past weekend at Fort Dix. The Mystic began the tournament with a 3-1 loss to Lee Mount Vernon.  They then rebounded stongly in game 2 to defeat the Hershey Crush 1-0 and New Hyde Park 3-1 the the 3rd game to win the group.  In the final against Omni Vista of Virginia, Bridget Giovenco scored on a 30 yard direct kick 4 minutes into the game. The lone goal held up. Kat Plowman made a number of saves to guide the Mystic to the 1-0 win and tournament championship. The Mystic is trained and coached by Mike Kizoulis and the team is managed by Kathy Collins.
