The Fur-Ever Le Scholarship


The Fur-Ever Le Scholarship is created in the memory of Jersey Knight player, Leanna Previte. It is an annual $500.00 scholarship awarded  to a Jersey Knight college bound, female, member of the Soccer Club who intends to continue her soccer career at the collegiate level while completing her academic pursuits.

Leanna was a former player for the Jersey Knights Soccer Club who spent her youth years competing for the club. Leanna was a quiet leader who led by example demonstrating the characteristics of a strong work ethic, loyalty and commitment to her team and teammates.  She was an avid animal lover who volunteered extensive time to the care of homeless animals. As a young adult she started the business FurEver Friends, a successful dog care provider business. In addition to her volunteer work with animals, Leanna was a karate instructor who spent considerable time working with youngsters to improve their self-esteem. Leanna's strong commitment to her Jersey Knights team and her devotion to her karate students have inspired this award.

Applicants for this award must demonstrate soccer and academic accomplishments as well as commitment to their team and the Jersey Knights Soccer Club. In addition, the recipient must demonstrate a strong level of volunteerism in club, school or community programs or activities.

Applications are available on the Jersey Knights Soccer Club website at and must be submitted no later than May 30th.

The Award Recipient will be announced by June 30th.
