Congratulations to the Jersey Knights Excalibur U18 Girls for winning the championship of the U19 Bracket at the Prince William Icebreaker in Woodbridge, Virginia. Excalibur won all 4 games scoring 12 goals and only surrendering 1 goal (an own goal) the entire weekend. They defeated the Keystone Soccer Club from Pennsylvania in the final 3-0.

Kaitlin Curran led a strong Excalibur attack with 8 goals. Jane Barrent chipped in with 2 goals. Sam Yock and Amanda Minue also scored. The Excalibur midfield led by Christal Sacco and Amy Vachal and a tough defense that included Katie Toreky, Alison Janiga, Megan Knoth and Nicole Anulewicz shut down opponents the entire weekend.

Excalibur follows its strong performance in Virginia with its regualr season opener this Sunday, 4/1/07, with games vs Liberty Elite and US Parma. Good Luck Girls!
