Congratulations to the Jersey Knights U23 Men for winning the Summer MSSL U23 Soccer League. The team finished the season with a      7-2-1 record including the championship of the MSSL U23 Tournament.  In the tournament the Knights defeated Next Level FC 2-0 in the semifinal and Jersey Shore Boca 3-1 in the final.

Standout players for the Knights included Danny Bartok, Pat Baffuto, Willy Munoz, Dennis Perez, Gabriel Avans, Chris Garcia and leading scorer, Geremy Witherspoon. The entire team consists of collegiate players with most competing at the D-1 level. The team is trained and coached by Rene Portillo. Rene currently coaches the Knights U17B Lancers and is a coach at Newark Rutgers University.
